Ceylon Emergency Extended
COLOMBO. September 25. The Ceylon Government said today that the state of emergency proclaimed last May as a result of Tamil-Sinhalese clashes over the language issue would be extended into its fifth month from next Saturday. It said the extension had been decided as a precaution against renewed trouble.
