Committee’s Report Next Week
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 25. The "first report of the departmental committee which had been investigatirfg the establishment of an iron and steel industry in New Zealand would be in his hands next week the Minister of Industries and Commerce (Mr Holloway) said in the House of Representatives today in reply to a question by Mr F. L. A. Gotz (Opposition, Manukau). Amplifying his reply, the Minister said: “Very urgent and quick decision” would be taken on whether the Government should act immediately it receives the report or whether it should delay action.
