LONG SERVICE WITH FIRM

Employees Of Brown Bros

Although none of the original staff of the partnership of Brown Bros, Ltd., is now with the pany, several present members have served the firm for 20 years or more. They are: Mr W. Fabian nesting department), 34 years; Miss C. J. McGregor (company secretary), 28 years; Mr A. T. Roberts (works manager), 23 years; and Mr J. T. Collins (stores manager) 20 years. Mr C. J. (Charlie) de la Cour, who had been associated with the business intermittently since its inception, retired from the position of wiring foreman at the beginning of this year, after completing more than 20 years of continuous service. Other long servivce members of the staff are: Mrs N. J. Clark (chief typist), 17 years; Miss M Mill ward (head ledgerkeeper), 15 years; Mrs E. Fleming (costing clerk), 13 years; Mr A. M. Sheppard (chief engineer), 14 years; and Mr A. A. Scott (sales manager), 13 years. The company’s policy of promoting its own trainees has created a valuable asset of accumulated knowledge—-of immeasurable value to its clients
