M.C.C. Team For South America
(N.Z Press Association—Copynfftit) LONDON, September 23. Hubert Doggart, the Sussex and England batsman, was today named captain of tne M.C.C. cricket team of 12 amateurs who are to make a month’s tour of Argentina and Brazil during the northern winter. The team, which will leave by air from London on December 20. and return on January 20, is: G. H. G. Doggart (Sussex, captain), D. B. Carr (Derbyshire, vice-captain). J. A. Bailey (Essex). P. L. Bedford (Middlesex), M. H. Bushby (Kent), E. R. Dexter (Sussex), C. B. Owland (Cambridge University), A. C. D. Tngelby-Mackenzie (Hampshire), R. V. C Robins (Middlesex), D. R. W Silk (Somerset), M. J. K. Smith (Warwickshire), and O. S. Wheatley (Warwickshire).
M. D. Burden, the Hampshire offspinner, who is coaching in South America, will ioin the team there.
