Snooker Canterbury Junior Championships
The semi-finals of the Canterbury junior snooker championships will be held this evening. The semi-final between J. Linton and N. Thomas wsl be' held at the Pioneer Sports Club, and the semi-final between E. Greaves and G. Logan will be held at the Woolston Working Men’s Club.
Results of the quarter-finals held last evening were;—J. Linton beat N. Aitken, 2-1; N. Thomas beat T. Hall, 2-0; E. Greaves beat I. Crawford, 2-1; G. Logan beat C. Rogers, 2-0
Long Sheep.— “l thought that the Oxford Down sheep at the Royal Highland Show were the first sheep that I’d ever seen that required another pair of legs.
