(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) • MILAN, September 23. Roger Riviere. France’s world professional pursuit cycling champion, broke three of his own world records at tne Vigorelli stadium tonight. In spite of punctures in the third and ninetieth laps. Riviere covered 47.346 kilometres (29 miles 737 yards) in one hour, beating his previous
best of 46.923 kilometres (29 miles 164 yards). His time for the first 10 kilometres, 12min 22.8 sec, was 9sec better than the record.
At 20 kilometres he clocked 24min 50.6 sec—breaking that record by 24.45ec.
