MELBOURNE Investment shares recorded a very irregular tone on the Melbourne Stock Exchange yesterday. Rises and falls were in balance. Best move came from E.Z. down Is to 15s 7d. Mining shares continued to ease in all sections. Base metals recorded the largest movements with falls in Broken Hill South of 2s 9d to 47s 3d and North Broken Hill down 5s 6d to 83s.
