PROVISION FROM ESTATE
An order that £5OOO was to paid to the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian College Board of Governors from the estate of Francis Louisa Cleary was made by Mr Justice Haslam in the Supreme Court yesterday. In an action brought under the Family Protection Act, 1955, his Honour also ordered that the plaintiff, William Peter Bruce Cleary, the only son of the testatrix, be paid the balance of the estate.
Mr J. A. Bretherton appeared for the plaintiff, Mr P. T. Mahon for the Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Company of N.Z., Ltd.; and Mr W. K. L. Dougall for the college board of governors.
Decree Nisi Granted.—ln an undefended petition for divorce on the ground of desertion John Neil Hamilton (Mr J. A. Bretherton) was granted a decree nisi lit. the Supreme Court yesterday, alfcinst Madeleine Elizabeth Hamilton.
