Nurses’ Hall.— The new nurses’ recreation hall at the Christchurch Hospital will be opened on October 13 The chairman (Dr. L C. L Averill) said, at yesterday’s meeting of the North Canterbury Hospital Board, that the cost was £42.000 and the board had contributed £13.000 from its trust funds. The nurses had raised funds for the furnishings.
