Sir, —“Slumber on Methodists” has revealed most interesting statistics. Surely the Methodists will give constructive thought to the needs of children. It is strange to note the silence of the Methodist authorities, when usually they concern themselves with other social failings. May the Methodist authorities or committees responsible for running the children’s institutions, realise the deep public concern there is for the complete maternal care, and mental health of children.— Yours, etc.
