CENSORSHIP MOVE IN IRAQ
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, September 22. No book, pamphlet, or similar publication can in future be printed or published in Iraq without the permission of the Iraqi Military Governor-General, the Bagdad Radio announced last night. A directive, broadcast over the radio, stated that censorship of local and foreign newspapers and periodicals would be the responsibility of a special military censorship organisation.
