Schools Or State Houses?

Sir, —May I ask “Logic” how he or she proposes to introduce birth control and how will the State (I presume! decide how many children each family will contain? “Logic” obviously hasn’t any children or else such a stupid and selfish statement would not be made. The State is not obliged to provide everyone with a free house, but it is under an obligation to provide adequate facilities for educating our children. Far too many people rely upon the State to provide them with the comforts which most sound men and women should be able to provide themselves. But, rather than be frugal for a few years, these types would fritter their money away on racing and luxuries they can ill afford and serve no useful purpose other than creating an impression.—Yours, etc., PARENT.
