MEMORIAL HALL MOVED TO NEW SITE.—The Don McKenzie Memorial Hall being transported across the Sockburn railway crossing on the Main South road to its new site at 48 Springs road. The hall, given by Sir John McKenzie and Lady McKenzie in memory of their son, who failed to return on a flight from the Royal New Zealand Air Force Station, Wigram, during the war, has been situated in Epsom road and used by Sockburn Methodists of the Riccarton circuit. Transferred to a more residential area, it will be rebuilt and enlarged as the first stage of the new Sockburn Methodist Church.
