MEN’S SOFTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

The annual meeting of the West Coast Softball Association received advice from the New Zealand Association, that the New Zealand men’s club championship would be'played in Greymouth next March. Two clubs froin each province will be permitted to take part. The annual report showed that good progress had been made in the "ame and representative fixtures had i>een played against Canterbury, Canterbury Colts, Buller (twice), and South Canterbury (men and women).
It was 'decided to nominate men’s and women’s teams for the New Zealand major tournaments, to be held in Wellington at the end of the year. The following officers were elected President, Mr N. C. Messenger; vice-presidents, Messrs F. Jelly man, J. Stone; secretary. Mrs B. Stone; treasurer, Mr A. Goodall. (
