200 Arrested In Mexican Riots
MEXICO CJTY. Sept 7 Rioting swept the business section. of Mexico City for ntore than eight hours on Saturday. Scores of injuries and arrests were reported. The violence came when school teachers called a demonstration in an inter-union fight Tear gas bombs, clubs, and butts ot guns were used to break up groups, often workers waitint for buses. The police were under orders to disperse any assemblage of more than eight persons. Unofficial reports said at least 100 persons were injured and 20C were arrested during the disorder. No fatalities were reported.
