The Arab League’s General Secretary, Mahommed Abdpl Khalek Hassouna, has 1 announced that Tunisia and Morocco have decided to join the Arab league as full-members. The decision was viewed by diplomatic quarters tonight as the most momentous development in the Arab world since the Iraqi revolution.
Observers said the adherence of the two North' African nations would have far reaching consequences 'in the international spbgre. The league's purpose is to promote solidarity among the Arab nations. ‘ • It, .now’ has 11 members..
