Atom-Blasting To
Be Used

A Sandia Corporation official said yesterday that nuclear explosives will be used in Alaska in 1960 on one of three non-mili-tary construction projects under consideration.
Mr Richard Bice, director of field testing for the corporation, said the projects were a harbour
on the north-west coast a channel through the peninsula which starts the Aleutian chain and a harbour along the coastal strip of Alaska which stretches south towlards the United States.
