Soviet H-Power Device

Soviet scientists yesterday unveiled a device finished only four weeks ago \vhich may help to tap the power of the hydrogen bomb for iridutrial purposes. The device, nicknamed “Ogra,” is a trap for hot particles which turns them into thermonuclear plasma—a pepping stone in the quest for hydrogen power. A scale rtuodel of “Ogra” was shown in a (preview of the Soviet stand at the “Atoms for Peace” exhibition.
