(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 31. Off-course investments with the Totalisator Agency Board on Saturday totalled £330,902 10s, comprising win and place bets Of £169,863, and £161,039 10s on doubles.
The figures for individual meetings, with off-course substitutes, were:—<■
Avondale, £155,601 5s (Black Raven-Tawhiao bracket). Wanganui, £99,797 10s (Imitation). Ashburton, £55,763 15s (none required).
Eastern Southland, £19,740 (Vamoose).
