Richard Pape To Marry
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 20.
Richard Pape, writer of the war-time escape story, “Boldness Be My Friend,” which has now nine translations, will marry Miss Billie Brickman. daughter of Mr and Mrs Benjamin Brickman. of Karori, on Saturday morning. Their friendship began four years ago Miss Brickntan, impressed by his escape story, wrote a congratulatory letter.
A mutual friend, through whom the two met when Mr Pape came to New' Zealand four years ago. is Mr Winston Yeatman, a prominent character in the book, who is coming to Wellington to be best man at the wedding.
