Lyttelton, South Park 19, 10.30 a.m. (not Ensors road, ’1.30 p.m.). —Advt. Last Game for Southland.—G. E. Groves, the Southland Rugby hooker, will play his fortieth and last game for his province in the match with Otago, at Invercargill, today. Groves is shifting to Fairlie.—(P.A.) Secretary’s Resignation.—Mr H. E. Roberts, a former New Zealander, who has been secretary of the Australian and New South Wales Rugby Unions «for the last four years, has resigned. He has asked for his resignation to take effect from the end of the current football season.—Sydney, August 8.
