PARLIAMENT’S DIARY
The House of Representatives .spent most of yesterday dealing with departmental estimates after the Minister of Finance (Mr Nordmeyer) had introduced the Land and Income Tax Amendment (No. 2) Bill. The bill deals with excess profits retention tax, and dividends’ tax, and outlines exemptions applying to income tax. ' The Income Tax "(Annual) Bill will be brought down later in the Session.
