Three Hurt When Cars Collide

Two women and a small boy were hurt when two cars collided at the intersection of Olliviers road and Hereford street about 2 p.m. yesterday. One of the women, Mrs Mabel Helen Pollock, of 2 Jollie street, the driver of one of the cars, was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital. The driver of the other car, Mrs Valerie May Sullivan, and her two-year-old son, Mark, of 55 1 Dacre street, were treated at the outpatients’ department and sent home. Last evening Mrs Pollock’s condition was reported to be satisfactory.
