Soccer STRONG TEAM TO PLAY NELSON
Australians’ Third Match
(New Zealand Press Association) NELSON, August 6. A strong team will be fielded by the Australian soccer tourists for their match against the Nelson combined XI, at Nelson tomorrow. The captain, J. Marston, will play at centre-half, and will have outside him R. S. Wemyss and N. Rule, who formed the combination in the half line against Wellington yesterday, when the score was 2-2.
The Australian team is: W. Firkin; R. Adair, J. Mather; R. Wemyss, J. Marston, N. Rule; B. Morrow, F. Loughran, G. Nunn. S. Kitching. B. Vogler. Reserves: J. McCabe, H. Murdoch, K. O’Neill, L. Vella.
