LAST APPEARANCE IN COURT
Mr Justice Finlay Bidden Farewell
(New Zealand. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 6.
Mr Justice Finlay stepped down from the Auckland Supreme Court Bench today for the last time. The occasion was a valedictory function held in the Supreme Court to mark the end of his service with the Judiciary. He was appointed to the Bench in 1943, and retired last February, but since then has been working in his chambers on the revision of the Crimes Act, a task, he said today, that was not yet completed.
