It is hereby publicly notified that it is the intention of the Rangiora Borough Council, at an ordinary meeting of the said Council, to be held at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 1958, in the Borough Council Chambers, Percival street, Rangiora, to make and levy the undermentioned rates upon the Rateable Value (on the basis of unimproved valud) of all rateable properties appearing in the Valuation Roll now in force in the Borough of Rangiora for the period commencing on the First day of April, 1958, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1959. The said Rates are made and levied under the provisions of the Rating Act, 1925, and Section 95 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, by direction of the North Canterbury Catchment Board in pursuance of a Special Order made by the said Board. (a) Administration Rate of decimal one nine four pence (.194d) in the £ on unimproved value. (b) Ashley Area—a rate of decimal four five nine three pence *(.4593d)

in the £ on unimproved value, being the equivalent rate for Class F lands in such area. (c) Waimakariri-Eyre-Cust Area—a rate of decimal nought seven two eight pence (.0728d) in the £ on unimproved value, being the equivalent rate for Class F lands in such area.
