PARLIAMENT’S DIARY
When Parliament sat yesterday, further questions, mainly on Budget subjects, were asked by Opposition members. The Budget debate then continued, with the following speakers:— Government: the Minister of Forests (Mr Tirikatene), the Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr Anderton), and Mr J. B. Cotterill (Wanganui). Opposition: Messrs G. A. Walsh (Tauranga), W. J. Scott (Rodney), and R. G. Gerard (Ashburton).
