REARRANGEMENT OF BOOKINGS
Bookings for the Lodge, Hanmer Springs, for four parties, each of about 25 persons, who would have stayed there during conducted tours, were rearranged yesterday by the Christchurch office of the Government Tourist Bureau.
In the next two or three months several block bookings had been made by organisations which had planned to hold conferences at the Lodge. Included in these organisations were the Society of Accountants, the Electrical Retailers’ Association, the Laundry and Dry Cleaners’ Association, the Wholesale Footwear Manufacturers’ Association, and the Shelley conference.
