Pink Rose Favoured At Washdyke

Pink Rose is well capable of making a successful return to winning form in the Doncaster Handicap on the second day of the South Canterbury Jockey Club’s winter meeting tomorrow.

She won brilliantly over a mile at Ashburton two starts back and was fourth last Saturday when tested for stamina in the Donald Grant Memorial Handicap, run over 11 furlongs and 150 yards. Th field is of unwieldy size and those slow to reach speed will have heavy work ahead of them.
