200ft Slide Down Mountain
(New Zealand Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, June 23.
The condition of a Swiss waitress, Wilhelmina Bide, who slipped 200 feet on ice at the 6500-foot level on Mount Ruapehu on Sunday was reported to be satisfactory to-night. Miss Bide was climbing at the time. She was seen to slip and slide by members of the ski patrol, who rushed to her aid. She ended her shde fa soft snow, and the sfci patrol took her straight to the Taumarunui Hospital.
