NOTICE is hereby given that the Whitcombe Rabbit Board has, by Resolution dated the 7th May, 1958, classified all land in its district for the purpose of levying a rate on a graduated scale for the period commencing on April 1, 1958, and ending on March 3Jt, 1959. A list setting forth such classification may be inspected without fee at the offices of the Board, J. W. K. Lawrence and Co., 154 Hereford street, Christchurch, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on week days, and such list will be open for inspection from 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 1958, until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 1958. In the matter of The Rabbits Act, 1955, Public Notice pursuant to Section 65 of The Rabbits Act, 1955, and Sections 54 and 76 of The Rating Act, 1925 Notice is hereby given that the Whitcombe Rabbit Board intends, at a Meeting of the Board to be held at Cleardale, Rakaia, at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 1958, to make.and levy a rate on the land in its district for the period commencing on April 1, 1958, and ending on March 31, 1959, in the following proportions in respect of the follow-. ing classes of land:— .8d per acre in respect of land in Class I of its Classification List. Id per acre in respect of land in Class II of its Classification List. l.ld per acre in respect of land in Class 111 of its Classification List. 1.3 d per acre in respect of land in Class IV of its Classification List. 7.3 d per acre in respect of land in Class V of its Classification List. B.Bd per acre in respect of land in Class VI of its Classification List. And Notice is hereby further given that the said rates will become payable at the offices of the Board and in one sum on August 1, 1958, and that the Rate Book is open for inspection without fee by ratepayers between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. An additional charge of 10 per cent, will be added to all rates unpaid at the expiration of six months and 14 days from the date of demand, and shall be payable and recoverable accordingly.
