COMMERCIAL Prices Variable And Market Quiet
The Christchurch Stock Exchange was comparatively quiet yesterday, as is usual on a Monday’s trading. Prices were variable.

„„ C ? l ® s were firmer at 16s 9d (two sales) and 16s lOd, and 1.C.1. (A.N.Z.) at 52s was 6d firmer than most previous local trading. Ballins Breweries, xVoolworths (New Zealand) ex dividend, South British Insurance, Colonial Sugar (Sydney Register), Cox Brothers, K.P. Drugs, Waltons, Whitcombe and Tombs and the unlisted Carbonic Ice were unchanged.
