TROTTING Arrarana Wins First Les At Claudelands

(New Zealand Press Association) HAMILTON, June 29. The second winter meeting of the Waikato Trotting Club was held on Saturday at Claudelands in fine weather. The track was in good order and there was a large attendance.

The off-course double was won by Anarana and Lucky Briton and paid £l4B 2s 6d for £l. F. Smith drove three winners, putting him three ahead of M. Holmes.

The totalisator on-course handled £46,270 5s including £23,179 15s on the doubles, compared with £46,461 15s last year.
