At the Congress of Australian and New Zealand scientists in Dunedin 18 months ago he was impressed by the knowledge of the Dominion’s delegates, said Mr Roslavstev. “Soviet scientists also have some achievements and there are great possibilities for mutual exchange in this field.” There was now an exhibition of Soviet art in New Zealand, and al the end of the year Russians would be admiring an exhibition of this country’s paintings in Moscow and other centres, he said. “I recall the words of Mr Walter Nash that even a small country could take its part in the solution of difficult international questions,” he said. “New Zealand could do much towards world peace.” .
