Religion In Schools To Be Considered
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 19.
The Minister of Education (Mi Skoglund) will take time to consider what was put before the conference on religious instruction, to report to Cabinet and to the Government, before he decides on any future procedure. The conference on Religious Education in State Schools, at its concluding session today, decided, for technical reasons, not to 'set up a committee. Mr Skoglund had said he. would have no objection to the establishment of a •ommittee which he would have been prepared to call after he had reported to Cabinet and the Government to see if anything could be done to clear up any matters that required attention
