Mount Herbert Rates
The Mount Herbert County Council will strike a rate of 1 5-8 d in the £ on the capital value, it was decided yesterday. A discount of per cent, will be allowed on rates paid by September 30. The council’s funds, after allowing for the payment of accounts, were £2883 in credit as at June 19.
