CHANCE MEETING AT ATHENS AIRPORT.-Mr Clive Evatt, an Australian member of Parliament. and Archbishop Makarios, the exiled head of the Greek Orthodox Church in Cyprus, meet by chance at the Athens airport. The Archbishop had just arrived back in Greece after a week’s visit to Egypt, and Mr Evatt was on his way to England after spending a few days m Cyprus. Mr Evatt is president of the Australian Committee for Cyprus Selfdetermination. He is a younger brother of Dr. H. V. Evatt, leader of the Australian Labour Party.
