COMMERCIAL Prices Variable On Quiet Market
The Christchurch Stock Exchange was again quiet yesterday, with a short list oilly of transactions. Prices were variable. Ballins Breweries firmed 5d on most recent Christchurch dealing in this Stock to change hands at 345. Other stocks to firm included New Zealand Breweries, G. J. Coles and Waltons. . Feltex (Australia) changed hands at 225, 3d easier than the last transaction in this stock in Christchurch, and Ampol, at 12s, was also 3d easier. Andrews and Beaven, Ballins Hotels, Fletchers convertible debentures, McKenzies and South British Insurance were unchanged.
