MOTUKARARA ACCIDENT
Resumed InquiryNext Week An Inquiry by the judicial committee of the Banks Peninsula Racing Club into an accident in which three horses fell in the Peninsula Handicap at the club’s meeting on March 1 will be resumed next Thursday. A preliminary inquiry was held at the course on the day of the accident. It was to have been continued on May 1, but was postponed. The Riccarton apprentice, N. L. Hoy, was seriously injured in the accident when his mount, Goldwyn, fell and brought down Motueka and Tamarisk.
