School Fires.—Like the Ministry of Works which assembles records of fires in all buildings under its control to get information for fire protection, the Department of Education has decided that the study of fires m school buildings would be profitable. A circular received by the Christchurch Boys’ High School Board of Governors from the department asked tor details of fires, their oricin. and damage done.
