Hermitage Water Tanks
The two 50,000 gallon steel water-storage tanks erected at the new Hermitage to provide an adequate supply of water in the event of fire were designed and constructed, including the rigging gear and foundations, by D. F Nuttall Steel Construction, Ltd., and not by the Ministry of Works as was reported in “The Press” yesterday. The preparation of the site and the installation of all pipe work were done by the Ministry of works.
