Sir, —One sympathises ' with E C. Powell, as with any others who may have been victims of the waywardness of the motor trade; but one would sympathise a good deal more if one knew that they had made any determined effortto obtain redress. From all one hears, while many complain bitterly but very few are resolute enough to • have a “show-down” with the organisations concerned; a surprise indeed in a people ' renowned for their physical courage.—Yours, etc., M.T.
