STRAIGHT DRAW’S TRAINER HURT
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, April 10. J. Mitchell, the trainer of the Sydney Cup winner, Straight Draw, was injured today while attending to a horse in his Randwick stables. Mitchell had some ribs broken and received facial injuries when he was crushed against the side of the horse’s stall. He Is confined to bed, but expects to resume training next week. Yesterday, Straight Draw’s jockey, N. McGrowdie, broke a collarbone in a fall in a race at Randwick.
