TRAP SHOOTING Waihora Club
An open handicap shoot was held by the Waihora Gun Club on its ground on Saturday, under ideal shooting conditions. Results were:— First Match (a five-target sweepstake). —Possibles: W. H. Walker, L. Lanauze, I. Smith, A. Tomson, F. Radford, W. A. Anderson, A. Berry, G. West, and J. Dillon. Second Match (10-target sweepstake). —Possibles: W. H. Walker, L. Lanauze, L. Blatchford, M. Eden, F. Radford, L. Hubbard, W. A. Anderson, A. Berry, and W. Winchester, Jun. Third Match (10-target sweepstake, off 18-yard mark). —Possibles: L. Lanauze and F. Radford, who divided first and second money in the sweep. The rest was divided by the following with nine breaks: —T. Gebbie, W. H. Walker, W. A. Anderson, R. A. Muir, J. Dillon, L. Gabbie, A. Greenwood, and J. Parkin.
Fourth Match (double rise sweep, shot at 10 pairs targets).—L. Lanauze, 18 breaks, 1; A. Tomson, 16 breaks, 2. The rest of the sweep money was divided by T. Gebbie, W. H. Walker. L. Blatchford, and J. Parkin with 15 breaks.
Final Match (10-target sweep at straight clays).—Possibles: L. Lanauze, A. Tomson, W. Winchester, Jun., R. A. Muir, and A. Greenwood.
