Cambridge Wins Boat Race
LONDON, April 5. Cambridge beat Oxford in the 104th boat race on the Thames today after leading all the way Cambridge won by an official distance of three and a half lengths in 18 minutes 15 seconds. Heavy rain after snow overnight and early in the morning caused the banks of the towpath to be almost deserted. Cambridge has now won the race for the last four years and leads by 58 wins to 45, with one dead-heat. Atlas Launched.—The United States Air Force launched an Atlas intercontinental ballistic missile today from the Cape Canaveral rocket station.—Cape Canaveral, April 5.
