SOCCER TODAY
The annual home-and-away matches between the two Technical Old Boys’ clubs of Dunedin and Christchurch will this year be played in Christchurch at Easter. The southern party will arrive bn Good Friday, and will be entertained at a social in the evening. At English Park on Saturday afternoon, the first division teams will compete for the Old Boys’ Cup. This match will be preceded by a match between the second division teams. A dance will be held in the evening, and Sunday’s entertainment will be in the form of a picnic to Stewart’s Gully.
Two more games will be played on Monday morning at Ensors road, the senior teams competing for the Crispan Sanderson cup. , The Dunedin team has won the games for the last two years. Winner of the Otago senior championship last season, the team is a strong combination.
