South Brighton Bus
Sir,—As> a regular user of the South Brighton bus I would ask if it Is possible for the 5.35 bus from the Square to be put back ffve or 10 minutes. Leaving as it does at 5.35 the workers who finish at 5.30 and work' a little distance from the Square have no chance of catching it. As there is no other bus for South Brighton till 6.20 this creates hardship and means that the unfortunate worker does not reach his home till 7 o’clock. An extra bus between 5.35 and 6.20 would also be a great help.—Yours, etc., TIRED OF CHASING IT. March 21, 1958. [lt was proposed to give a trial to a bus .going to South Brighton about 5.45-p.m., said the general manager of the Christchurch Transport Board (Mr J. F. Fardell). The service would start on April 8, and notifications would be put in buses and “The' Preaa.”] 1
