H-Bomb Tests
Sir, —John Johnson asserts that the argument put forward by an Air Force spokesman is lame. His own argument is* so unsound as to warrant amputation. Like Caesar, he claims immunity from fear. Why, then, is he so irrational as to advocate appeasement, which is the shortest route to war? A real crusader might lead a peace delegation to Moscow. He could undoubtedly take with him a guarantee of nonaggression from the free nations. —Yours, etc., T. E. SHAW. Westport, April 2, 1958.
