COMPENSATION COURT
Application To End Payments
Fletcher Humphreys and Company Ltd., sought an order before Judge K. G. Archer in the Compensation Court yesterday granting .leave to end the weekly payments of compensation made to an employee, Eric C. Reiher, since he was injured in an accident in November, 1955, until the present time. Mr R. P Thompson appeared for the company, and Mr B. A. Barrer for the employee.
The company claimed that Reiher had wholly recovered from injuries he had received while in the employ of the firm. It claimed that any incapacity from which Reiher might be suffering was not due in v’hole or in part to the accident. After medical evidence had been heard, the Judge asked counsel to make written submissions to him on points of law and the amount compensation should be set at. The hearing was adjourned
