Capet Bracket Favoured “The Press” Special Service INVERCARGILL, April 2. The Riverton track has dried out and if there is no rain before Saturday it will be in good order for the opening of the Riverton Racing Club's Easter meeting on Saturday. The double will be on the Aparima Handicap and the Riverton Cup. for which Ben Ledi and Great Sensation may be the respective favourites. The Hazlett pair, Capet and Tisred, hold their places as favourites for the Great Western Steeplechase. The Tongs firmed in favour after a good schooling exhibition over the Riverton country this morning, when Yankee Modesta did not jump with his usual brilliance. Riding engagements include:— J. M.
